1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Footy Genius ("the App") or accessing the Footy Genius website ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Footy Genius is a personal football/soccer performance tracking application. The Service allows you to record match statistics, track player ratings, manage teams, capture match media, and view your data online via the web dashboard.
3. Account Registration
To access cloud features and the web dashboard, you must create an account using a valid email address or third-party authentication (Google, Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all data, statistics, and media you create within the App. By using the cloud backup feature, you grant Footy Genius a limited licence to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
6. Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.
7. Data & Backups
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you are responsible for maintaining local backups. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, account deletion, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Intellectual Property
The Footy Genius name, logo, design, and code are the intellectual property of Footy Genius. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Footy Genius is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
